SAMHSA was established in 1992 and directed by Congress to target effectively substance abuse and mental health services to the people most in need and to translate research in these areas more effectively and more rapidly into the general health care system. The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester provides a wide range of mental health services to individuals and families. The primary service area includes, Manchester and the towns of Auburn, Bedford, Candia, Goffstown, Hooksett, Londonderry, and New Boston. One of their programs, Bedford Counseling Associates, is available to people throughout northern New England.
The Greater Nashua Mental Health Center at Community Council provides various mental health services for men, women, and children of all ages.s of its residents by providing evaluation, treatment, resource development, education, and research.
Riverbend Community Mental Health serves individuals and families, schools and employers throughout Merrimack County, with offices in Concord and Franklin, N.H. Riverbend’s Children’s Program provides services to children with an ASD and their families. The ASDs Emotional & Social Enrichment Program provides social skills groups for children, and support groups for parents.
