Proud Moments ABA

Portsmouth Area – Proud Moments, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is child centered. ABA is a common therapy for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum. ABA is individualized and utilizes various techniques to increase appropriate behavior while reducing behaviors that may cause harm. The goal of ABA is to teach new skills along with increasing social and communicative skills, while decrease behaviors that cause harm or interfere with learning in various environments. ABA effectively develops language and communication skills, improving attention, focus, social skills and memory. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will work directly with the client, family members and service providers to determine the function of behaviors, upon consent from the client and family. All interventions put into place are individualized to specific needs of the clients across multiple environments.
