Thank you for your interest in participating in these Young Adult Mental Health trainings. These trainings are presented by members of the NH Young Adult Advisory Council, a group of young adults with the shared mission of improving the well-being of young adults across New Hampshire.
In this training, you can expect the following:
AFSP It's Real: This program raises awareness about mental health issues commonly experienced by young adults. Participants will learn how to start a conversation about mental health, the importance of self-care, and how to reach out for help.

Suicide Prevention Training: This training teaches participants how to interact effectively with someone experiencing mental distress using three steps -- awareness, interaction, and direction. This training also includes education on mental health resources, practicing the A.I.D. action plan, reducing stigma about mental illness and substance use, and promoting self-care.
