Strategies for Addressing Anxiety Related to COVID-19

Anxiety is a common co-occurring concern for many people with IDD (including ASD). In this time of COVID, everyone is experiencing heightened anxiety. For this population in particular we need to be aware of this underlying anxiety and provide strategies to help people manage their symptoms.

This panel presentation will describe how anxiety may present in people with IDD and demonstrate effective strategies to address these anxieties.
