Last year, DHHS requested input from the public as BDS began the Acquired Brain Disorder Waiver renewal process. BDS held listening sessions to hear feedback, experiences, and thoughts from individuals and families who utilize services on the ABD Waiver. Sharing what has worked and what needs attention helped to inform waiver changes in the application that will be available for formal public comment from April 20 – May 22, 2026.

The public is invited to review and comment on the draft renewal.
