Great question! Go to the virtual map where you can find all of our wonderful sponsors with tons of products, services and technologies for the disability community. Think of this as your home base. You can click on the sponsor tiles to open up each of the virtual exhibits.
You can do that! Do you see the navigation on the left side? Click "Categories" and select on of the general product categories to find what you are looking for. You can also search by keyword in the top navigation.
If you prefer to search by company name, click "Sponsors" in that same navigation for the full list. You can also tag the ones that spark your interest and add them to "MyExperience" where you can access them at anytime.
Click "Categories" on the same menu and you can search by general product categories. Or, if you want to get REALLY specific, there is a keyword search in the top navigation for you to use.
A lot of times, you'll come across something you don't want to forget. Maybe it's a product, maybe you don't want to miss a sponsor's live Zoom meeting. In each sponsor exhibit, there is a handy button at the top that says: Add to MyExperience. Use it! You can take notes, set a reminder for a sponsor's live event and better keep better track of the awesome things you have seen.
In that case, you should make use of the other handy button at the top of a sponsor's virtual exhibit, "Contact Me." It will allow you to email your queries directly to the sponsor contact person.
There are! From the map, it's hard to miss the Virtual Workshops tile on the left. Click on that for a list of our wonderful on-demand sessions on travel, accessible home design, service dogs, fundraising for medical equipment and so much more. Click on the workshop title, and you can enjoy expert instruction via YouTube video, viewable within the platform. All workshops are on-demand and captioned.
Our Virtual Event Arena is chock full of all that! Click on the tile on the right side of the map to access hours of fun for the whole family! You can learn about sword play, how to tune-up your wheelchair, a new documentary about a woman who gave birth during quarantine as a quadriplegic. There's more. Lots more!
All of the workshops and events presented by the Abilities Virtual Experience are on-demand. BUT, some of the sponsors are holding live, online events and would love for you to be a part! If a sponsor is holding a live chat, Zoom meeting, webinar or has some impactful on-demand content for you, they'll tell you in the special events section on their virtual exhibit.
