Supporting Ourselves and Loved ones with disabilities through Authenticity Camaraderie and Empowerment (S.O.L.A.C.E.)

Parenting a child with a disability comes with both challenges and successes. Join us for a safe space to share your experiences and connect with like-minded parents to build a community of support. We will share information, ideas, and resources for parenting a child with special needs.

Group Facilitator, Kristen Costa, has two children, one of whom has a disability. Kristen has attended trainings through the Federation of Children with Special Needs and Mass Families, which focuses on building foundational advocacy skills to empower our children to lead rich, meaningful, and exciting lives. She is also the Secretary of her local Special Education Parents Advisory Committee. She believes that community support and connection is an important resource for families that are caring for a loved one with a disability.

For caregivers of children ages up to age 10 with disabilities, special needs, and/or learning differences.

Group is held weekly on Monday evenings at 7PM, in-person at Relief Parenting Respite and Resource Center, 387 Lafayette Road #204, Hampton, NH 03842 or virtual. Childcare is NOT available during this time
