Outreach Coordinator
Back in 2016, after raising two beautiful daughters, Suzanne decided it was time to redirect her career and pursue her passion in helping families and their children with special healthcare needs. This passion stems from the challenges she and her husband faced while raising her youngest daughter, who has a disability and chronic health condition. They felt there needed to be an easier way for families to access necessary resources for their children. She found her way to NHFV while attending NHTI for her Associate Degree in Human Services. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, with a concentration in Family Studies, and minor in Education Advocacy as well as having participated in PIC’s Volunteer Advocate Training Program. Suzanne is the current editor of the agencies newsletter, Pass It On and assigned to work on the Youth Health Care Transition Services Project aiming to help youth and young adults prepare for transition from pediatric to adult care. She can be contacted at smk@nhfv.org
