"Medicaid Matters: Speak Up NH advocacy training program. This series is designed for Medicaid beneficiaries, caregivers and concerned citizens who are new to advocacy but ready to speak up.
Program Details
Dates: 5 Wednesday Evenings (Sept-Nov)
Location: Concord/Manchester locations
Cost: FREE, with gas stipends provided!
Purpose: The NH Medicaid Matters coalition wants to create a supportive and confident community of New Hampshire healthcare champions. Participants should be willing to learn effective advocacy skills that create real policy change. Facilitators, presenters and mentors from throughout the coalition will collaborate to prepare advocates for potential opportunities to testify and/or share their experiences in both formal and informal settings.
We have a limited number of spots and hope for a variety of perspectives to be represented in the group of participants."
