A Free Virtual Workshop for Direct Support Professionals
“Dream Big!” is a 2-hour training for DSPs and any other person who works directly or indirectly with persons with disabilities. Family members and individuals with disabilities may also find the training beneficial. This is a value-based training that focuses on the importance of individual “choice,” and how to support individuals with disabilities make their own individualized decisions. The training provides DSPs opportunities for sharing their experiences with Ableism, tips and tools related to person-centered planning, and activity about supporting individuals to participate in their community in a meaningful way based on their strengths and interests.
