Choices for Independence Waiver Listening Sessions

May 24, 2021

New Hampshire’s Department of Health and Human Services requests your input as the Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services (BEAS) begins the Choices for Independence (CFI) Waiver renewal process. Every five years the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) requires that the states renew their Home and Community Based Care 1915 (c) waivers. The renewal process is lengthy and includes collaborative meetings with a wide range of stakeholders to gather input on the waiver. BEAS is working with the Institute on Disability (IOD) to deliver four feedback sessions statewide. BEAS encourages people to participate in the feedback sessions noted below or to provide input by email or mail. Sharing what has worked and what needs attention helps inform waiver changes in the application that will be available for public comment in the Fall of 2021.

Due to COVID-19 all listening sessions will be held remotely using a call-in option or video conferencing (Zoom).

Accommodations
Live captioning will be used during the session. If additional accommodations are needed for communication access, please contact Linda Bimbo as soon as possible. Every effort will be made to accommodate needs identified with advance notice.
