FASD NH (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders)

FASD NH is comprised of a group of passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds including parents of children with FASD and professionals from the medical, human services and business field who desire to bring awareness and education of FASD to our New Hampshire community. FASD NH holds a seat on the Governor’s Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Perinatal Substance Exposure Task Force. Together we can make a difference by raising awareness of the dangers of drinking while pregnant and the potential life-long effects to an individual and family struggling with an FASD.

FASD NH educates New Hampshire communities including the public, health and social service providers, legal and education systems and policymakers about alcohol use during pregnancy and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) with the goal of improving prevention, early identification and intervention for those affected and supports individuals and families affected by FASD.
