NH Office of Public Guardianship

The Office of Public Guardian is a private non-profit corporation that provides guardianship and advocacy services to legally incapacitated adults, including those who may be challenged by developmental disabilities, mental illness, dementia or traumatic brain injury. Professional staff provides a depth of experience and a wide array of services to clients on a fee for services basis and to qualified indigent clients through a contract with the State of New Hampshire.

Other services include:

♦ Technical assistance for family guardians;

♦ Presentations on guardianship to Area Agencies, Community Mental Health Centers, hospitals, nursing homes, and other interested groups;

♦ Expert consultation and investigation of guardianship-related issues for attorneys, probate courts, social workers, and other interested parties.
