Making the Best of Transition Times

For children and caregivers, transition times are usually the most difficult and stressful parts of the day., Transitions may be frustrating, provoke anxiety, and lead to challenging behaviors for some children.  

Participants in this workshop will learn:

• Why transitions may be difficult for the group and for individual children
• How to prevent challenging behaviors connected to transitions
• Effective strategies that work during transitions in the classroom and at home, and the importance of communication between childcare providers and parents.
